KOHIMA, OCTOBER 21 (MExN): Kohima Deputy Commissioner, Gregory Thejawelie has issued eviction notice with regard to unauthorized occupation of government land within the premises of government quarter at Lower New Minister's Hill, Near CRPF Camp under Mouza No/Ward No. Lerie, Kohima.
A notice through the DIPR informed that the eviction notice was issued under section 5 (1) and section 6 (1) of the Nagaland Eviction of person in unauthorized occupation of Public Land Act, 1971.
The notice was issued to one Ruokuongulie Rocus Belho, who the DC directed “shall be evicted by using necessary force on the October 24 at 11:00am.”
It was informed that the incumbent has failed to comply with a notice dated June 3, 2019 and September 12 to “evict the illegally occupied land within the stipulated time and have further constructed illegal structures which is necessary to evict such unauthorized structure by the government.”
The order also added that the cost for execution during eviction shall be borne by the evictee. In this regard, the DC has directed Longosen Lotha, SDO (C) Sadar to carry out the execution of this order by using necessary Police security.
