KOHIMA, SEPTEMBER 27 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner, Kohima, Gregory Thejawelie today listed the areas up for land acquisition for construction of Extra High Voltage (EHV) Transmission Lines by the power Grid Corporation of India Limited North Eastern Region Power System Improvement project (NERPSIP).
The construction will be carried out under the initiative of the Department of Power, Executive Engineer, Transmission Division, Kohima.
A notice through the DIPR informed that the areas for land acquisition include Zhadima Village, Phezha Village, Thizama Village, Meriema Village ( Nagaland University Complex), Nerhema Village, Teichuma Village, Chiechama Village, Tsiemekhuma Village, Botsa Village, Terogunyu Village, Tseminyu Village, Tesophenyu Village, Nsunyu Village and Ehunnu Village. The project includes implementation of 132 Kv D/C, LILO of 132 Kv S/C and 220 Kv S/C (on D/C ) New Kohima Transmission Line under NERPSIP Package NAG-TW-05, Kohima District. The DC therefore notified any person/party having any claims/objections over the said stretch of land Village areas, should submit the same to the Kohima DC’s office within 30 days starting September 25.
