G.Rio School, Riizhiikhrie GHSS enter quarter finals
Our Correspondent Kohima | July 4 G.Rio School and Riizhiikhrie GHSS today get connected to quarter finals round after registering win in their respective pre-quarter final matches at the ongoing Ist edition of Kohima district inter-school football tournament 2017 under the aegis of Royal Club Kohima and school education department here at Khuochiezie. In the 7th pre-quarter final match played today, G.Rio School beat Azedon School 1-0. The winning goal for G. Rio School came through Sangti in the 39th minute. G. Rio School will now face St.Mary's HSS on July 7 in their quarter final match. In the 8th pre-quarter final match, Riizhiikhrie GHSS trounced Dainty Buds School 5-0 to face Mt.Hermon HSS in their quarter final match on July 8. The match witnessed scoreless draw till the first half. Scorers for winning team Riizhiikhrie GHSS includes, Keviyabei-u (46th min), Dziesevizo (48th min) and Dziesenei-u (54th min), Keviyabei-u (62nd min) and Menuoletuo (70th min). With this win, Riizhiikhrie GHSS will play with Mt.Hermon on July 8 in the quarter final match.
