Kohima DPDB discusses setting up BDO and SDAO offices under 15 Southern Angami-II AC

Kohima, January 15 (MExN): The meeting of Kohima District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) was held at DPDB Hall, Kohima on January 15.

At the meeting, a DIPR report stated that Er Kropol Vitsu, Advisor, Prison, Printing & Stationery and Chairman, Kohima DPDB highlighted on establishment of BDO and SDAO office under 15 Southern Angami-II AC and urged the Administrative and concern department to bring out the detail required documents at the earliest for further perusal to the government.

The meeting also discussed the recognition of Assam Rifles Primary School, Tsiesema and agreed to recommend to the government for further necessary action. 

Earlier, Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Kumar Ramnikant, IAS who chaired the meeting reviewed last meeting minutes. He also urged the district officers to attend the upcoming Republic Day celebration at Secretariat Plaza on 26th January and added that attendance will be taken at the venue and the follow up action will be taken in the next DPDB meeting. For the Republic Day exhibition football match, the DC requested the district officers to submit at least one players name from their respective department on or before January 19.

Administrator KMC, Lanusenla L Peseyie informed on the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra programme, to be held on January 19, which is being organised by the Kohima Municipal Council and requested all the line departments to contribute their services in their respective areas for the successful conduct of the event.

GM, DIC Kohima, Y Intsangju Sangtam presented the departmental activities while RTO Kohima was entrusted to present the departmental activities in the next meeting.
