Kohima, August 22 (MExN): The Gorkha Sahitya Kala Sanstha (GSKS) Kohima under the aegis of Gorkha Public Panchayat Kohima (GPPK) celebrated 30th Bhasha Diwas marking the recognition day of Nepali language on August 20.

Thapa said it is now high time for Gorkha students to take Nepali education to a different level and avail the benefits of the constitutionally recognised language.

Expressing concern on the difficulties faced during the COVID- pandemic, he called upon all concerned Nepali/Gorkhali people to continuously maintain the COVIO appropriate behaviours and follow the laid down SOPs at all times.

GSKSK Cultural Secretary Bharat Barailly chaired the programme while welcome speech was delivered by GSKSK president Chandra Kumar Lama and significance of bhasa was shared by Assistant Cultural Secretary Vinod Mothey.
