Kohima, April 1 (MExN): The Kohima District Inter Government Higher Secondary Schools & Government High Schools tournament will be held from April 2 to 4 at T.M. Government Higher Secondary School ground, Kohima.
The inaugural function on April 2, at 10:00 am will be graced by Senthang, District Education Officer, Kohima as the Chief Guest. Alish Thong, Supervisor (Adult Education), District Education Office, Kohima will preside as chairman and invocation will be pronounced by Fr. Dennis SDB, Principal, Don Bosco Hr. Sec. School, Kohima. An opening remark will be delivered by Kaitunchap Newmai, JEO, District Education Office, Kohima and the students of T.M. GHSS will present a special song while Mesehol, Physical Education Teacher, GHS Kigwema as Chief Field Marshal will administer the Oath of the contingents.
In this regard, all institutional authorities concerned of the following schools: GHS Jotsoma, GHS Sechü-Zubza, GHSS Kohima, GHSS Seikhazou, TMGHSS Kohima, John GHS Viswema, GHS Kigwema, GHS Kezocha, GHS Chiechama, GHS Botsa, GHS Sendenyu, GHS Kasha, GHS Tesophenyu, GHS Chunlikha, GHS Phenshunyu, and GHSS Tseminyu; and the entire staff of the establishment of District Education Office, Kohima have been directed to be present at the venue without fail.
