Kohima North Treasury sets October dates for pension verification

Kohima, September 17 (MExN): The Kohima North Treasury has notified all pensioners drawing pension from the treasury that the annual physical verification for 2026 will be conducted from October 12 to 16 and October 21 to 23, from 9:30 am onwards.

The verification is being conducted as per CTR 368.

Following the integration of Jeevan Pramaan with TreasuryNet, pensioners have been urged to register and generate their Digital Life Certificate (DLC) through the Jeevan Pramaan app.

Pensioners who have successfully generated the DLC and received an approval SMS on their registered mobile number will be exempted from appearing for physical verification at the treasury.

However, DLCs will be rejected in cases of mismatch between Pension Payment Order (PPO) and Aadhaar details. In such cases, pensioners will have to appear in person at the treasury for physical verification.

Pensioners attending physical verification have been advised to check their book serial numbers and allotted dates as provided in the enclosed annexure.

Those unable to attend physical verification due to old age or being bedridden may submit their home address and contact numbers to the treasury. A treasury official will subsequently be deputed to conduct verification at their residence.

Pensioners facing difficulties in operating the Jeevan Pramaan app may visit the treasury for assistance. A dedicated help desk is operational at the treasury.

The treasury said there would be no further extension of the physical verification beyond the dates mentioned above. It also cautioned that no pension payment from October 2026 would be made to unverified pensioners.

For physical verification, pensioners are required to produce their PPO Book and duly attested Life Certificate.

The Life Certificate may either be printed from the Nagaland Treasuries website or collected from the treasury during office hours.

Pensioners or their representatives may print the certificate from the website, treasuries.nagaland.gov.in, or collect it from the treasury.
