Dignitaries with NPSC recruited Agriculture Officers and Agriculture Inspectors in Kohima on June 10.
KOHIMA, JUNE 12 (MExN): A one day orientation programme for 46 NPSC recruited Agriculture Officers and Agriculture Inspectors was held on June 10 at the conference hall of the Directorate of Agriculture, Kohima.
Addressing the gathering, M Ben Yanthan, Director of Agriculture, highlighted that the Department has 44 establishments including the Directorate in the State.
Yanthan also urged upon the newly recruited officers to utilise the opportunity with a purpose and work towards the welfare of the farmers. He also stated that the department expects high level of commitment and sincerity in carrying out their duties at their respective places of posting.
Jt DA (Planning) Ketsukha Kath briefed on the Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS) component under the department. Felicitation ceremony was led by Deputy Director Rosemary. The programme was chaired by Additional Director Peter Yanthan.
