Dimapur, November 28 (MExN): On November 25, 2011 one Alem Pongener was apprehended near Nepali Church, Midland Colony by the Midland youths, and Vizovo was apprehended by the BSNL Staff near Jail Colony while trying to stealing underground telephone cables. During their interrogation, another person Mezivoyi was arrested by police personnel from Mohonkhola area. Case has been registered in the South PS for further investigation. This was informed in a press note issued by Dy. Superintendent of Police (T) & PRO DEF Kohima, Melite Kapfo.
The note also informed that acting on specific information, a combined team of IRB and Special Cell of Kohima Police arrested SS. 2nd Leut. Avibu and SS. Pvt. Neithobulie of FGN from Mohonkhola area on November 26, 2011. A case has been registered for investigation. Meanwhile, on November 27, 2011 acting on specific input, a team of the Special Cell of Kohima Police arrested SS. 2nd Leut. Tovi and SS. Sgt. Ahovi of NSCN (K) from the Naga Hospital area while they were demanding money from certain shops in the locality. A case has been registered for investigation. Also, on the same day, Pelevituo, Kevizolie, Neiphre-o and Vitsituo, were arrested by Police personnel from the New High Court Junction area for physical assault on some public. A 9 mm Pistol and a 7.65 mm Pistol were also recovered from their possession. It was stated that a case has been registered in the North PS and investigation is on.
