Kohima, January 23 (MExN): The Kohima Police, aided by personnel from Medziphema Police Station (PS), successfully arrested an individual on January 22 in connection with an alleged carjacking incident in Kohima last week.
According to the Kohima Police PRO, the incident took place on January 17 when an unknown miscreant forcibly seized a local taxi (Maruti Alto) from its driver near Kohima Bible College. The suspect, identified as Micheal Dzüvichü (29 years), was later arrested on January 22 in connection with the incident.
The Kohima Police PRO labeled Dzüvichü as a "habitual offender," and a formal case has been registered at North PS, Kohima, for a further investigation.
