
Kohima, February 5 (MExN): In view of 5th session of the 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly from February 7 to 15, the following traffic regulations will be enforced as part of the security arrangement.
Only vehicles with the following car passes will be allowed entry to the Assembly Secretariat:
• X (Green letter with White background) - For Legislators
• Y (White letter with Sky Blue background) - For AHoDs/HoDs
• Assembly Logo- For Assembly Staff
• LH (Black letter with White Background) - For Police Personnel and P.S/P.A
• (Green letter with White Background) - For IPR/Media and Other Department
• ON ASSEMBLY DUTY (White letter with Red background) – For Staff Bus/Pool & Dak Vehicles
No vehicle will be allowed to be parked by the roadside from 0600 hrs onwards during Assembly Sessions at the following routes;
• From BSNL Telephone Exchange till Classic Island
• From Raj Bhavan till MS Classic Island
• From Classic Island to Tinpati via Razhü point
• Tinpati to Billy Graham Road via Don Bosco Jn
• From Tinpati to High School
• From High School to New Secretariat via Sanouru bridge
One way traffic via Sanouru for down vehicles going towards Secretariat and vehicles coming towards town areas from secretariat are advice to take Billy Graham road.
Heavy vehicles will not be allowed to ply in Kohima town during Assembly Session, from 0600 hrs till the session is over. All loading and unloading of goods in Kohima town should be completed by 0600 hrs (morning) during Assembly Session.
Heavy vehicles will not be allowed to be parked along ‘D’ Block road.
While anticipating positive co-operation from the public, the police will tow away the defaulting vehicles and the charges will be borne by the vehicles owners, stated a press release issued by PRO, DEF Kohima.
