Kohima, July 9 (MExN): The Department of Power has announced that power supply will be suspended in Kohima town and its surrounding areas on Sunday, July 11 for maintenance work. The power shutdown is scheduled from 8:00 am to 10:00 am on July 11, to allow installation of new equipment and fire fighting system for the power transformer at the 132/33/11kV Sub-station in Old Minister Hill, Kohima. The Executive Engineer, Transmission Division, Kohima, has requested all the public in the affected areas to extend cooperation and bear the inconvenience during the shutdown period.
