KOHIMA, SEPTEMBER 10 (MExN): The Kohima Press Club (KPC) has announced the selected Fellows for the 3rd Edition of the Kohima Press Club and Nagaland Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (KPC-NBOCWWB) Media Fellowship for Journalists 2024. The chosen fellows are Seyiekietuo Keretsu of Nagaland Post, Kanili Kiho of The Morung Express, and Vibeituonuo Kuotsu of Nagaland Post.

The fellowship, aimed at shedding light on the construction industry in Nagaland, will provide each fellow with a grant of Rs 50,000. Over the course of the fellowship, which runs from September 15 to November 15, 2024, the fellows are expected to produce and publish a series of in-depth stories that explore the experiences and challenges faced by workers in the construction sector, a press release from the KPC informed.

To kick off the fellowship, the KPC and NBOCWWB will host an orientation workshop on September 14 at the Kohima Press Club office located in the APO Building, Phoolbari, Kohima. The workshop will be attended by the selected fellows and all KPC members are also invited to participate in the event.
This initiative continues to support and enhance investigative journalism, focusing on significant yet often overlooked aspects of the local economy and workforce.
