Kohima, May 3 (MExN): In view of the present tenure of the Kohima Press Club (KPC) executive members coming to an end on May 14, the Club will hold its election for the tenure 2016-19 on May 13. On the election day, nominations to the five different posts to the Executive Council will be opened from 10:30 am – 11:30 am, scrutiny from 11.30 am – 12 noon, withdrawal of candidature from 12 noon – 12:30 am, and election through secret ballot will be held from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm. Intending candidates have been requested to refer to the KPC Constitution for smooth conduct of the election. Meanwhile, all the regular members of the Press Club have been informed to attend and exercise their right to vote.
