Kohima, March 5 (MExN): The department of Botany, Kohima Science College Jotsoma will be hosting a three day long international symposium on “Integrated Land Use Management in the Eastern Himalayas-Focus on Nagaland” from March 12-14 at Kohima Science College, Jotsoma.
Minister for higher & technical education Temjen Imna Along and Nagaland University vice chancellor Professor Pardeshi Lal will be special guests at the inaugural session on March 12 at 9:00 am.
Keynote address will be delivered by Dr Dean Current, director, Centre for Integrated Natural Resources & Agricultural Management, University of Minnesota, USA.
Welcome address will be delivered by Dr Lily Sema, principal Kohima Science College Jotsoma, while Wenyitso Kapfo, Asst Prof, Department of Botany, Kohima Science College Jotsoma will chair the function.
