The vision of Kohima as a Smart City is being severely tested this monsoon by the rapidly deteriorating condition of its major roads. With incessant rainfall, the key roads in Kohima Smart city have deteriorated into a horrendous state, causing significant inconvenience for commuters. Critical junctions and areas like Tinpati, Billy Graham Road, Keziekie, the roads around Don Bosco School, and Jail Colony are particularly affected, with potholes and damaged surfaces slowing traffic and posing risks.
