Kohima as “Smart Destination” has been proposed under the Pan City proposal which will be achieved through an ICT digital tool with smart solutions comprising of Comprehensive Urban Mobility Improvement Centre (CUMIC) and Kohima City e-Services Centre (KCeSC) under Central Command & Control Centre (C4).
This was stated in the annual administrative report 2016-17 of municipal affairs department tabled by parliamentary secretary for municipal affairs R. Tohanba in the just concluded assembly session.
The report stated that the components under this will include Intelligent Traffic Management System, LED Street Lighting, Parking, Wi-Fi enabled bus stops, Development of Apps, Common Payment Card, New Age Neighborhood Trails- A/V Signage, Smart Transit services and Naga Heritage Branding e- Portals & Apps.
