Outgoing Kohima Superintendent of Police, Rothihu Tetseo is all set to hand over the charge to incoming SP Joseph Hesso on February 12 here. Tetseo will now take new assignment as commandant 10th IRB, Zhadima.
In an interaction with media persons on his last working day as SP Kohima in his office chamber, he conveyed gratitude to media persons for their support and cooperation during his tenure as SP Kohima.
He also thanked the NGOs, district administration, subordinate officers and jawans for extending cooperation and support, while acknowledging he enjoyed working with them. He was appreciative that Zero Pendency Day could be observed during his tenure and he termed it as one of the most satisfactory achievements during his tenure as SP.
Tetseo also thanked former home minister Imkong l. Imchen for showing his personal interest in completing new SP Office.
Meanwhile, speaking on behalf of the press fraternity, Narain B. Sagar thanked the outgoing SP and his subordinate officers for being so approachable in many ways and looked forward to similar response from the police in the days to come.
