Kohima, April 15 (MExN): The Kohima Town Club (KTC) has informed that the 4th Kohima Super League 2021 has been kept in abeyance till further notice.
The club informed that they will wait for the government guidelines and SOP to reschedule the tournament. This was informed in a press release from from Azho Sophie Convener, Organizing Committee on Thursday.
The tournament was scheduled to be held from April 21 to May 8 at IG Stadium, Kohima. However following the detection of Covid-19 positive cases from a representing district at the ongoing Dr T Ao Inter-District Trophy, the championship was kept in abeyance.
In this regard, the organizing committee of the KSL-4, various committee convenors, members and KTC members held an emergency meeting on Wednesday evening. The house decided to keep the league in abeyance till further notice from the state government.
