Kohima Yikhum Union office bearers elected

Kohima, March 17 (MExN): Kohima Yikhum Union (KYU) held a picnic cum-general meeting at Rudi Resort, Dzuu Bridge-Kohima on March 14. 

During the event, a new team of office bearers for the tenure 2025-2021 was also elected with Nzanbemo Kahan as Chairman, T Mhathung Odyuo as Vice Chairman, M Zuben Kithan as General Secretary and R Chibemo Kithan and Tsenchio Odyuo as Finance Secretary and Treasurer respectively. 

Earlier, a press release issued by the KYU media and publicity stated that the event was graced by RN Lotha, Member, Nagaland Human Rights Commission, Vanthungo Odyuo, President, NCP-Nagaland and Renchamo Odyuo, Director, Directorate of Evaluation, Nagaland. 

Exhorting the gathering, RN Lotha emphasised on the value of judicious utilization and exploration of nth natural resources towards economic progress and development. He also shared his thoughts on the concept of inclusive approach for a vibrant society. 

In his address, Vanthungo Odyuo advised the gathering to be ambassador of good citizenship and also to explore their inborn talents towards self reliance.  Z Rendemo Odyuo dwelled on cultivating the spirit of oneness, unity, positive mindset and constructive discourse for consistent progress. Dr Phyoben S Odyuo, Principal, Peren Government College vouched for maintaining the spirit of accommodation among the members.
