Kohima youth orgs flay atrocities of ‘national workers’

DIMAPUR, DEC 12 (MExN): UNESCO Club Nagaland and Kohima Sumi Youth Organization have expressed resentment over the recent incidents in Kohima where Vice President of Naga Hoho, Keviletuo Kiewhuo, former President of Kohima Sumi Students’ Union, Khehovi Sumi and a Lecturer from Modern College, Keyichet and his friend, Mitwatie, a Government  employee were assaulted in separate incidents.

UNESCO Club and Sumi Youth organization has asked law enforcing agencies  and the administration to remain alert and ‘save the lives of the innocent citizens’ from what they called  ‘the blood-thirsty people’

“The so-called ‘national workers’ under their daily routine assaulted and robbed the innocent citizens and not even spare the public leaders” stated Vikishe K  Wotsa, Secretary General of UNESCO Club and Secretary Finance & Press Information of Kohima Youth Sumi Organization.

“Why the faction commanders / leaders are blaming one another and keep mum, when their heartless boys are acting infront of their nose? Remember, the shed tears and scream of the innocent public will lead the so-called national workers to starvation”
“They love themselves as God’s created precious lives”, but others’ lives are considered at par with wild animals’. These actions are intolerable and such uncivilized behavior should be condemned, Vikishe K  Wotsa added.

The organizations have further appealed to the commanders/leader of all the factions to watch their cadres and asked that the people  be allowed to celebrate the festive season with happiness.
