Kohima, October 14 (MExN): The Koinonia Baptist Church (KBC) Kohima organized its Evangelistic Men’s Camp from October 8 to 12 at the Koinonia Prayer Centre in Tsiesema Basa. With the theme, “He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it” (Ezekiel 18:2), the camp drew 223 attendees for five days of worship, fellowship, and spiritual growth.
According to a press release from the KBC Media Ministry, the camp featured sermons and teachings from Rev Zotuo Kiewhuo, Founder and Senior Pastor of KBC and Principal of Kohima Bible College, along with KBC Pastors Medotseilieü Kiewhuo, Neibalie Kiewhuo, H Rokopra Mekro of Koinonia Prayer Centre, and Assistant Pastor Zashekho Hibo. Dr Tseilhoutuo Rhutso, a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) of Nagaland, served as the guest speaker.
The campers were divided into four groups—Patience, Goodness, Peace, and Love—with the Patience group emerging as the overall champion. The camp was directed by Lhouzakie Rutsa, with support from assistant camp directors Kropayi Dawhuo and Neizokhotuo Belho. The Men’s Fellowship Praise Team led the praise and worship sessions.
Participants explored various topics over the course of the camp, including Sin and its Consequences, Repentance and Salvation, Prayer, Faith, Temptation, The Holy Spirit, Giving—Tithe and Offering, Discipleship, Economic Gospel and Management, Biblical Concepts on Festivals, Restoring the Image of God, and Alcohol and its Consequences.
Several participants were recognized as “Best Campers,” including T Tokhuvi Aye, Anglong Konyak, and Pelebeituo of the Love Group; Nirmol Gogoi, Ngolhunyi Swuro, and Abdul Malik of the Patience Group; Vikhotuo Sopfunuo, T Malam Phom, and Khrievotuo Paunuo of the Goodness Group; and Limathung Odyuo, Sanjay Bardosa, and Vizotuolie Kerhuo of the Peace Group. Additionally, the camp honored five attendees over the age of 70: KB Jumu, RS Shulenjuv, Namba Maram, Nchumbemo Tungoe, and Rukhiukiu.
