Mon, September 8 (MExN): In an emergency meeting held under the chairmanship of Mongnei Konyak, Regional Administrative Officer (RAO) of the Konyak Region, the Government of the People’s Republic of Nagaland (GPRN) has reaffirmed its support for the collective leadership of the GPRN/NSCN.
A press release from the informed that the meeting, attended by over 200 Konyak National workers, including Aton Vangnao, Region Secretary; Brig. Wangpoli Konyak, GSO-1 of the Naga Army; Brig. Shohlo Konyak, Eastern Commander, and seven outpost commanders from Mon, Aboi, Naginimora, Tizit, Tobu, Chen, and Phomching, took place on September 6.
The assembly aimed to strengthen the resolution adopted by the Konyak Region on July 25, 2024. Participants expressed unanimous support for the leadership of Maj. (Retd.) RM Lotha, President of GPRN/NSCN, Chen-nyeim Konyak, Vice President of GPRN/NSCN, N. Kitovi Zhimomi, Ato Kilonser, and Jungshi Wati Ao, Deputy Ato Kilonser of GPRN/NSCN.
