DIMAPUR, AUGUST 9 (MExN): The Election Commission of Kohima Press Club (KPC) has called for filing of nomination for the post of the General Secretary from August 14-20 between 10 AM to 5 PM to any of the members of the election commission.
Scrutiny of documents will be done on August 21 and last date of withdrawal of candidature has been set on August 22. The election will be held on August 23 from 1 PM to 3 PM and the result declared the same day.
In case of some unavoidable circumstances/exigency, the election commission reserved the right to change the election date/day. The by-election has been necessitated following incumbent KPC General Secretary, Atono Tsükrü Kense resigning from the post which was duly accepted by the General Body Meeting held on July 27, 2023.
