KPC elects new team of Executive Council

Kohima, May 13 (MExN): The Kohima Press Club (KPC) elected its new team of Executive Council for the tenure 2016-19 on May 13. The team includes Xavier Rutsa as President, Atul Sharma as Vice President, Alice Yhoshü as General Secretary, Ng Solomon Sha as Treasurer, and Ozunglemba Jamir as Joint Secretary.   All the posts to the Executive Council were elected unopposed, a press release from Kopelo Krome, Chief Election Commissioner, KPC Election 2016 informed.   President re-elect, Xavier Rutsa thanked the house for the smooth conduct of the election procedure and for reposing their faith on the new team which consists of three members from the previous team, the release said.

  He further expressed hope that the Club members will continue to render their support and coordination to the new team of office bearers towards working for the welfare of the Press fraternity of the state capital.   Altogether, 28 members of the Club attended the proceedings.
