Kohima, May 30 (MEXN): Kohima Press Club beat Kohima Town Club by 2-0 to take the 3rd edition of the Xavier Rutsa Memorial Trophy played here at IG Stadium Kohima on Sunday.
The event, a friendly football match between the two clubs, is organized as a tribute to late Xavier Rutsa, who was one of the founding members of both the clubs.
In this regard, an exhibition match is played between Kohima Town Club (KTC), the organisers of the ongoing Kohima Super Cup 2022, and the Kohima Press Club (KPC).
KPC emerged victorious during the exhibition match.
In a brief programme prior to the match, KPC president Alice Yhoshü eulogised late Xavier Rutsa for his contributions in the field of journalism and sports.
