
Phek, November 5 (MExN): Parliamentary Secretary for Planning & Coordination, Evaluation & Monitoring Cell And Taxes, Neiba Kronu on Friday inaugurated the Leshemi village panchayat hall and library hall of Leshemi Students’ Union.
Speaking on the occasion, Kronu lauded the villagers for their truthfulness, honesty and hard work and appreciated that a high sense of honesty prevail in the village free of burglary.
Even if the doors remain unlock and the villagers undertake the agricultural activities without any apprehension, he said adding that another good example is selling of vegetables along the road side even in their absence wherein one can pick up anything by paying the amount accordingly as per price tag placed on every item.
Such trend of trust and honesty must also be adopted by others, Kronu said. He further urged upon the people to detest from petty politics but concentrate on hard work to accomplish their desired goals.
Razouvolie Dozo, Project Director DRDA Phek and Mikha Lomi, Retd DC Phek also spoke on the occasion.
The function was led by Leshemi village council chairman Wezhiepe Sara while Leshemi VDB secretary Medongu Losou welcome the gathering. Leshemi youth society and Lewoza village presented folk song and special song respectively and LSU president Neipetso Lomi proposed the vote of thanks.
