Kronu, Therie mourn Rev Prof Kelhizülo’s demise

Kohima, July 15 (MExN): Nagaland’s planning & Coordination, Land Revenue and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Neiba Kronu today mourned the demise of   Rev Prof Kelhizülo Lasuh, who expired on July 15 in Kohima.


He was the executive director of KBCA.


He was the first Professor among the Chakhesang community and served as Professor at Eastern Theological College, Jorhat. He was also the former Principal of Baptist Theological College, Pfutsero.


He was a mentor, a scholar and a humble God fearing person who dedicated his entire life for the community. 


Today we have lost a noble, honest and dynamic leader, who was an inspiration to all the Nagas, stated Kronu and expressed his deepest condolence to the bereaved family at this moment of grief.


May his soul rest in peace, Kronu added.


Meanwhile, in a separate statement, NPCC President K Therie on July 15 expressed grief the demise of Rev Prof Kelhizülo Lasuh.


Late Rev Lasuh lived a Godly life and led by example, Therie said in his condolence message.


He was also a treasure trove of knowledge and experience, Therie said, and added that in his demise, the society has lost an abundant source of knowledge.


The NPCC president said he and his family join shares the painful parting with late Lasuh’s wife, Mary K Lasuh and children, and prayed for God’s strength, comfort and peace for them.
