Kohima, June 20 (MExN): KROS College Alumni Association organized its first ‘Meritorious Programme’ on June 20 at the college campus.
The objective of the programme was to celebrate the achievements of the recent graduates of the college, acknowledge their hard work and at the same time to serve as encouragement to the students undergoing Bachelor degree in the college, informed a press release.
Khongalou Rosü and Chenithung Kikon were awarded as the Best Graduating Student in Honours and General respectively.
The Principal of the college, Imsuinla Imti exhorted the students to work harder and be a source of motivation and inspiration. “Money may be stolen and strength may fail but education can never be stolen,” she stated.
Meanwhile, Kelühol Tase, Asst. Professor, Department of Commerce in his speech stressed on the importance of making the Krosian family stronger and contributing to it.
