KROS College celebrates Alumni Day

Kohima, July 9 (MExN): The Alumni Association of KROS College, Leirie Kohima organized an event on July 8 entitled “Carpe Diem” – a Latin term which can be paraphrased as ‘make the best use of opportunity’. The occasion witnessed the presence of both the Alumni and the present students taking part in various activities.  

According to a press release, Principal KROS College Imsuinla Imti, in her address, expressed delight at the response of the Alumni. She advised the Alumni and students to continually keep learning and updating themselves. She also emphasized on taking initiatives and being empathetic towards people and technology.  

The Alumni shared their experience in the meet which was a remembrance of the college days that shaped their lives. The formal programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Kenielhoutuo, an alumnus of 2013 Batch.

  The occasion witnessed the “Rose day” in aid of Old Age Home visitation, to render community service and to be a better and responsible citizen, the release added.  

Stating that KROS College has a tradition of staying in touch with its alumni, the release informed that the Alumni Association’s annual meet take place every year in order to facilitate constant interaction with their alma mater.
