KSCDL initiates Handle Bar Survey

Kohima, August 28 (MExN): Kohima Smart City Development Ltd (KSCDL) has initiated Handle Bar Survey with cyclists and traffic personnel to gather qualitative and quantitative information regarding existing conditions.

The survey seeks to collect information about pedestrian and bicycle network gaps, signalised intersections, bicycle parking demand, safe/unsafe routes, posted and actual vehicular speeds and way finding amenities, informed a press release issued by Kovi Meyase, CEO KSCDL.

This is in continuation of the India Cycles4Change Challenge whereby Kohima under the initiative of the Kohima Smart City Development Ltd. is participating in the competition along with 95 other cities. 

It is an initiative of the Smart Cities Mission, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India to promote cycling which would conclude by October 2020.
