KOHIMA, JANUARY 24 (MExN): The Kohima Sumi Officers Union (KSOU) general conference was held at Hotel Japfu in Kohima on January 24.
Principal Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Department, Himato Zhimomi (IFS), President, Sumi Officers Union Nagaland encouraged the Sumi officers to be hardworking and develop a sense of collective responsibility.
He added that the Sumis, along with the rest of the Nagas, can achieve progress by inculcating these qualities not only in the work place but also in their personal lives. He also urged the officers present to set a good example for the coming generation by helping and reaching out to the people in need.
The programme was chaired by Er Z Tokishe, Kohima Sumi Officers Kuqhakulu (KSOK). Invocation was pronounced by Rev Dr Hokheto Chophy, Sumi Baptist Church, Kohima (SBCK). Other highlights included song presentation by male voice, SBCK; vote of thanks by Er Rebecca Achumi and benediction by Kughavi Chishi, Pastor NCRC, Sumi, Kohima.
