Kohima, May 16 (MExN): The Khensa Senso Telongjem Kohima (KSTK) has celebrated its Golden Jubilee on May 14 last at Hortiscape, Naga Heritage Village, Kisama.
During the celebration, the Union felicitated the eldest man and woman viz. Er T Ben Longchar and Tinurenla and the living senior most founding member C Mayangtemba.
Speaking on the jubilee theme ‘Towards a sustainable society,’ Rev C Teyong Kichu stated that God is the master of all things that happen in this world, God works through man as his co-workers.
He further stated that in order to enjoy the fruit of our labour and to become a sustainable society, we need vision through God, worship and walk in his path.
The famous Ao band, Samaro and Union womenfolk presented special songs on the occasion.
Vote of thanks was proposed by Moalemba, Convenor, Jubilee Planning Committee and the programme concluded with mass prayer invoking divine intervention for the progress of the community.
Meanwhile, the Union appreciated and conveyed God blessings to all the invitees, participants and well wishers for the successful celebration of Golden jubilee.
