Kohima, June 21 (MExN): A Kewhimia Union Dimapur (KUD) delegation led by its President K. James Vizo met the Chief Minister of Nagaland, Dr Shürhozelie Liezietsu on June 19 at his official residence in Kohima. Various social issues pertaining to the KUD and its members’ welfare were discussed during the meeting.
With regard to construction of community building in Dimapur, the Chief Minister assured the delegation of looking in the matter shortly, informed a press release from KUD Joint Secretary, Esabel Solo.
Meanwhile, the KUD delegation also met the Kohima Village Council Chairman Dr. Neiphe Kire at his private residence in Kohima and deliberated on various social issues in a cordial manner, the release added.
It was informed that KUD will shortly organise a workshop for the youth on the topic of career building and awareness on social issues related to health.
