Nagaland State Women Commission donated hygiene items for women to be used in quarantine centres in Dimapur. The items were donated through Naga Women Hoho Dimapur.

Kuda Village Baptist Church has resolved to house all Angami returnees who are permanent residents of Kuda village irrespective of denomination at its Guest House.


Informing this to The Morung Express, Dimapur incharge for COVID-19 related activities, Y. Kikheto Sema, IAS said the Kuda Village Baptist Church conveyed its resolution to him when he met the members on Monday. He appreciated the Kuda Church for coming forward and said that more organizations and Churches are likely to come forward volunteering to take care of its respective members. 


“I’m happy that people are realizing that the returnees are no other than their own children, brothers, sisters, villagers and colony members,” Kikheto said and urged all tribal hohos, villages and churches to come forward. 
He said those returning from outside should not be treated as an outcast when they are in distress and people should not discriminate them. He expressed the hope that the= people would win the war against the pandemic with Coordination, Cooperation, Confidence and Contribution.

NSWC donates
Meanwhile, Kikheto also thanked the Nagaland State Women Commission for donating hygiene items for women to be used in quarantine centres in Dimapur. The donated items included 30 packets of Whisper Soft, 800 packets of Whisper XL and 195 pieces of V Wash. The items were donated through Naga Women Hoho Dimapur.
