Medziphema, MARCH 14 (MExN): The Kuki Christian Church, Medziphema Town (KCCM) Platinum Jubilee was celebrated under the theme “Conqueror through Christ” Romans 8:37 on March 12 at the church premises.
The event commenced with a blessing delivered by Rev Paolal Thangeo, Moderator, Kuki Christian Church Nagaland Synod (KCCNS). Rev Seimang Haokip, Executive Secretary KCCNS, unveiled and dedicated the jubilee monolith and Rev Seikholen Chongloi, Pastorate Pastor KCCNS, delivered a sermon on the topic.
Alet Hangsing, Convener of Jubilee Committee extended the welcome address and also an overview of the church’s history. The release of the souvenir was presided by P James Swu, ADC Medziphema.
Head GB of Medziphema Village, President of Pastors' Fellowship Medziphema Town, and Sehmang Singson, great-grandson of Lt Dilang Singson also spoke during the occasion. Thangminlen Singsit, Chairman Platinum Jubilee Committee gave the vote of thanks.
The event was attended by over 1000 and was graced by all the ordained Pastors of KCCNS, alongside local pastors representing various churches from the Medziphema Town Area, administrators, and members of various apex bodies, GBs, and dignitaries.
Later, a Jubilee Night session was also held with array of performances including songs, choreography, and other presentations. KCCM Platinum Jubilee Celebration concluded with prayer led by Upa Doulen Lenthang.
