Kung fu crash course ends in Mkg

MOKOKCHUNG, OCTOBER 31 (MExN): The 10-day kung fu crash course for self defence and belt grading initiated by the New Kung Fu Association, Mokokchung came to a close today at Multi-sports hall, Imkongmeren Sports Complex. A total of 63 students attended the camp and received certificates from the association.  

Meanwhile, a belt grading program was held on the 30th October evening wherein pastor Temsuwati speaking as special guest encouraged the students to focus on physical fitness and that kung-fu should not be misused.  

Later, the belt grading and awarding of certificates were carried out by the president of the Indian Kung-fu Federation, grand master Sarat Singh, 8th degree black belt, president and chief examiner, Indian Kung-fu Federation.  

Recipients of black belt in various degrees were Toshimeren black belt, Temsuyanger black belt, Bendangakum black belt 3 degree, Waluniba black belt 1 degree, Mithlesh black belt, Chandan Thakar black belt and Imyepong Longkumer black belt.
