Kohima, July 30 (MExN): The Khiamniungan Union Tuensang (KUT) has extended its fullest co-operation and support to the Eastern Nagaland Peoples' Organisation (ENPO) and Khiamniungan Tribal Council (KTC) in banning the Sovereign Republic of Freeland (SRF) within KTC's jurisdiction in particular and the ENPO area as a whole.
A press note issued by M. Neolo, President and NL Tangsoi, Executive Chairman of KUT stated that consequent upon the written directives and endorsement from the office of the ENPO/KTC, the KUT summoned all the persons within the community involved in the SRF activities in December 2015, during which, the persons involved voluntarily agreed to honor and abide by the decisions of the KTC and ENPO.
Therefore, the release stated, no Khiamniungan citizen must be involved in the activities of SRF as the organisation has been declared non-existent within the entire Khiamniungan jurisdiction by KTC.
