Phek, Feb 28 (DIPR): Stating that behind every successful man there is a women, Minister for Agriculture, Kuzholuzo Nienu called upon the women folk to realize their potential and values towards human race in the society and asked them to have the ability to differentiate between right or wrong. He was speaking as the Chief Guest of the celebration of Phek village women of Phek town at town hall on Feb 25.
The Minister said that in order to uplift our society we need active participation of women to shoulder our society for better unity, understanding, cooperation and prosperity of the people. He said that if the women teach their husbands and children to walk in the right track then the society will be a sincere one. Pointing out that there is a lot of evil designs in the society the Minister called upon the civil societies to move forward to combat anti-social elements. Congratulating the founders of the organization for their visionary wisdom, he said that it is a sign of unity, love and affection and appealed to the women folk to remain united and work together.
Wife of the Minister, Apolu Neinu, also spoke on the occasion, said that parents are responsible for the nourishment of the children in the right direction to enhance their endeavour for the welfare of the society. She also stressed on the important role of women in the society.
