KVC, KSU allege AR high handedness

DIMAPUR, JANUARY 2: The Khamkria (sukhaphuto) Village Council and the Khamkria Students Union have alleged that on January 1, the 37 Assam Rifles “without any information raided the village with fully armed men of about 50-60, harassed the whole public, checking mobile phones of both young and old, frightening children, damaging public property, fencing walls and questioning about the movements of UGs.” Terming this as a “totally barbaric act,” a press note from the Council Chairman and the President of the Khamkria Students Union called upon all right thinking peace loving citizens to condemn the act.
