Kohima, August 4 (MExN): The office of the Kohima Village Youth Organization (KVYO) appeals to KMC Administrator not to issue tender permit regarding essential commodities to any individual or firm. “KVYO strongly insist on the open tendering system” stating that the present coupon issuing system can control and curb the price escalation and being competition to the market. Whereas, Monopoly’s potential to raise is its most critical detriment to consumers. Monopoly allows an individual and firm to get maximum profit leaving the public to suffer thereby affecting the economy as well.
The office also requests the politicians not to recommend any such case of Monopoly to Kohima municipal. KVYO while extending its full support to KMC, also voiced that KMC should not in any case entertain the tender permit because such practices will be boycotted at any cause.
This was informed in a press release issued by Medozhatuo Rutsa, President KVYO and Kezhalelie Keretsü, General Secretary, KVYO.
