In a vibrant prelude to the much-anticipated 67th Kohima Village Sports Meet 2026, the Kohima Village Youth Organisation (KVYO) announced an evening of music and culture under the banner ‘A Classic Extravaganza of Talents.’ The concert will take place on June 28 at 5:00 PM at the Capital Cultural Hall, Kohima.
This event will showcase a lineup of musical talents, all hailing from Kohima village and celebrated on national stages.
The evening promises a blend of choral harmony, solos, and legendary performances. Notably, the concert will feature: Five church choirs, acclaimed solo artists, and Methaneilie Solo Jutakhrie. Mengu Suokhrie will host the event.
The concert is a celebration of the village's artistic heritage and community spirit, serving not only as a cultural highlight but also as a curtain-raiser to the forthcoming sports meet, according to organizing committee.
