Kohima, November 24 (MExN): The Khonoma Youth Organisation (KYO) and Merhüma Youth Organisation (MYO) have mourned the demise of Constable Kevisekho Khate of 10 IR Battalion and L/NK Zewangba Yim of 2nd NAP (STF), posted at Lamhainamdi, Jalukie. The duo was allegedly shot and killed by another jawan identified as C/N Zeneise Yhoshü of 4th NAP on the night of November 22.
The organisation condemns such cowardly act to the highest term and such barbarous activity which should be brought to justice at the earliest as per the law, stated KYO in a press release from its President Sikolie Vakha.
The KYO further conveyed its sincere condolences to the bereaved families and relatives of the deceased.
Meanwhile, the MYO also condemned the “heinous crime” in highest term and demanded justice at the earliest. A press release from its President Sikho Tho-u, the MYO further conveyed its condolences to both the deceased families and relatives.
