L Kire retires, new PCCF & HOFF takes charge
KOHIMA, JUNE 30 (MExN): The office of the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF) bid farewell to L Kire, IFS, who demitted the Office of Additional Chief Secretary and PCCF & Head of Forest Force (HoFF) on June 30.
Dharmendra Prakash, IFS has taken charge as the new PCCF & Head of Forest Force.
In a small informal gathering in the chamber of PCCF & HoFF, all the senior officials of the Forest Department gathered to bid farewell to the outgoing officer. The incoming PCCF & HoFF highlighted the illustrious career of L Kire, IFS and about the various important portfolios he held during his career spanning over 35 years. He also recalled the times they spent together in the field.
The other officials present in the meeting also spoke about the brilliant career of L Kire. They also mentioned how efficient and hardworking he was during his career.
Kire meanwhile stated that the Forest Department is like his family and he is happy to retire in sound health. He recalled his days as Divisional Forest Officer in the field. He also thanked the support given by the Department officials and staff throughout his career. He congratulated the incoming PCCF & HoFF and mentioned that Dharmendra Prakash will be one of the longest serving PCCF & HoFF in the history of the Department. The outgoing officer also visited the Project Management Unit of Nagaland Forest Management Project and congratulated the staff for their hard work and wished them success.
All the senior officials of the Forest Department and staff from the office of Principal Chief Conservator of Forests were present during the brief farewell program.
