DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 3 (MExN): The Department of Labour and Employment has alerted all unregistered individuals on the e-SHRAM Portal in Nagaland about an important initiative. This notification comes in response to a Supreme Court order issued on October 4, 2024, regarding the challenges faced by migrant workers.
The department has organized a Mela, set to take place from November 4 to November 8, across all District Civil Supply Offices. This event aims to facilitate the issuance of Ration Cards to those registrants who have yet to receive theirs through the e-SHRAM Portal.
Jointly coordinated by the Departments of Labour and Food & Civil Supplies, the Mela presents a vital opportunity for e-SHRAM registrants who have not yet acquired their Ration Cards to obtain them. The department encouraged all eligible individuals to take advantage of this initiative during the five-day event.
