DOYANG, MARCH 3 (MExN): The Land Owners’ Union of the Doyang Hydro Electric Project (DHEP) in Wokha, Nagaland, has called on registered contractors and applicants from among its bona fide members to obtain a new Land Owner Certificate before participating in contractual tender activities or seeking Grade-D and other contractual employment within the project. In a statement issued by the Union’s Press & Media Cell, the organization stated that the move is intended to safeguard the rights and interests of ancestral landowners affected by the DHEP. The certification process, it said, is aimed at ensuring proper verification and authenticity of Union membership, thereby preventing complications and maintaining transparency.
