Kohima, April 30 (MExN): Directorate of Land Resources organized a farewell programme for its outgoing registrar, Vakrale Lcho on April 28 at the directorate’s conference hall. Director Mhathung Yanthan attributed Vakrale as humble, honest, sincere and responsible while recollecting how he and the retiring registrar joined government service together. He wished her a long and happy retired life. Meanwhile, Vakrale thanked God for the good health and also the department and staff for the programme organized in her honour. She mentioned that she had been serving in the department since its creation for the last 22 years. Though she is retiring from service, Vakrale hoped that the relationship built over the years will not retire, a press release received here said. The programme was chaired by Hoto Yeptho, Additional Director, who praised Vakrale’s sincerity, dedication, and mild mannered nature and wished her the best in her endeavours. Speeches were also delivered by N. Kehie, DPO on behalf of district officers and staff and Botovi Sema, Superintendent on behalf of Directorate staff.
