Kiphire, November 21 (MExN): To encourage the district officer and staff, Additional Director of Land Resources Albert Ngullie along with SLNA team and DPO Zunheboto Vikugha Kiba conducted a tour on November 18 and 19 in Kiphire district to supervise and review the ongoing PMKSY-WDC 2.0 in the district.
Sharing observations in the field at Langzanger, the visiting officials said PMKSY-WDC 2.0 work has many components but springshed is a core component of the watershed programme. They requested the staff and villagers to take special care of it.
The visiting officials encouraged the villages to take development activities seriously so that development footprint is found for generations to come. They also discussed the management of cardamom disease, conducted field demonstration, and also visited various watershed works taken up under the programme.
