Dimapur, November 23 (MExN): The Landmark colony in Dimapur will start the construction of all the lane roads within its jurisdiction from November 24. In this regard, the Landmark Colony Council (LCC) and Landmark Colony Youth Organization (LCYO) have unanimously resolved that no individual or group of any kind shall be allowed to interfere either in the form of obstruction or collection of any kind of taxes from the road construction team.
The two organizations took the decision during an emergency joint meeting on November 23, they stated in a joint statement. They further resolved to jointly supervise and monitor the working systems for smooth, quality and early completion of the road construction. Therefore, all concerned have been requested to cooperate with the resolutions made in the best interest of the general public.
Meanwhile, the two organizations also acknowledged the contribution made by Moatoshi Longkumer, MLA, II Dimapur-2 A/C for fulfilling the long cherished dream of the colony public for having a good road by construction of all lanes of colony road beginning November 24 as part of the 2nd phase after completing the construction of Lane-3 road within the colony jurisdiction recently.
