Dimapur, March 2 (MExN): The affected landowners of the 4-lane Highway Dimapur By-pass have now demanded that the payment of compensation to the landowners be made immediately. The 4-lane Joint Action Committee Dimapur By-Pass, in a letter to the General Manager of NHIDCL Dimapur from its Convenor Keron Janger and Secretary Zubeni Patton, have also stated that should the NHIDCL not be “in a position to disburse the land compensation despite the fact that the money meant for compensation has already been sanctioned on 12/1/2016, the reason for non-disbursement thereof be communicated to us in writing immediately.” “Also if the NHIDCL is likely to take time beyond 15th of March 2016, the date of payment be made known to us in written including the reasons thereof,” asserted the letter.
